You are sitting at home, living an ordinary life, working nine to five, going to church on Sundays and maybe even a midweek bible study. You’ve discovered life with Jesus, but you know, deep down, the life you are currently living doesn't line up with what you really in the New Testament. You know there is more out there, waiting to be discovered. Jesus died to save you, but also to save the whole world. What does this mean? You read His words, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” They seem to call out to you and draw you somewhere into the unknown.
But where?
We believe that the five-fold ministry gifts that Jesus gave to the body of Christ, found in Ephesians 4:11-12 (the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers) are still alive and active today, waiting to be woken up in a sleeping generation of believers. These leadership gifts were given for the purpose of equipping and activating the Church to continue the work of the Great Commission until it is finished (Matthew 24:14).
